I'm trying to resolve an issue I have when making touch sense searches in an ArcMate.
I'm convincing my company to buy a "wire breake". But, besides this, I want to minimize problems because of contact tip abrasion.
The robot does pulsed MIG welding, and this maximize the abrasion, causing the wire to look bent (making the searches very inaccurate). And, even when a brand new contact tip is installed, the wire (ER70S-6, 1.2 millimeters, copper coated) doesn't appear perfectly straight. The cleaning station is a "BINZEL BRS-LC" with a DAV wire cutting station.
What can I do to minimize or solve this?
