I was digging through the form and came across a post that references someone discussing rewriting the EEPROM for the KVGA card to have the external monitor enabled at boot before windows loads. I have quoted the post below. I can't seem to find the referenced post using the forum search or even follow that link without being asked to log in, despite being already logged in. Does anyone seem to have any recollection of how exactly this is done, and what portion of the EEPROMs memory needs to be modified? I have a dead duplicate KVGA card that I could rewrite the EEPROM of without leaving myself up a creek in need of a new card, and I think this would be a nice change to have considering there is always an external monitor connected to my robot.
Actually, "sm.com" solution is used after OS started
how about to display VIA VGA from the every begin, the BIOS stage?
snovs said that "You can rewrite the content of the chip (AT29C010A eeprom) on the kvga card (check sum A900), and will be view the both display."
that's too chip-lever operation...
