I'm a student in a robotic welding independent study program. I'm using an arc mate 50ic 5l with a r-30ia mate controller. I'm trying to make a 3 pass fillet weld using RPM through TAST and mp offsets everything goes fine until it tries to start the second pass it will tell me RPM-027 illegal arc instruction and I know my RPM and offsets are working fine because, if I take the arc instruction out it uses the proper offsets and runs my weave, but if I try to start an arc it has a problem. I asked my instructor and he has no ideas on how to fix this. thanks in advance for any help.

I figured it out it needs a motion attached arc start for the 2nd and 3rd passes not a stand alone arc start with a motion command after.
