Having issues with this robot not feeding wire, when the temperature get above about 75 degrees outside it wont feed wire, something is heating up. changed the feeder, all ground cables, torch, welder, it is a water cooled torch, put on new water cooler, runs great till the it starts to get hot outside. Any Ideas? this is a tough one.

does the feeder even attempt to move the wire, or it's just dead?
-
Either burns back, burns the tip half way back or dosen't feed at all.
-
Are you feeding from A spool, or a barrel?
-
Barrel, changed the barrel no different

The best way to fix a wire feed problem, is to start at the source and work your way to the end.
does the wire pull freely from the following items?
The barrel?
The conduit to the feeder?
Thru the guides in the feeder with the rollers disengaged?
Thru the guide that feeds the liner thru the arm?
Thru the liner in the arm?
Thru the contact tip?The most common wire feed problems we have seen are caused by worn parts in the supply route.
You should be able to pull the wire by hand thru all the things mentioned above.
The plastic conduit that feeds the feeder from the barrel gets grooves worn in them from wire following the same route.
Also if the liner that feeds the welding torch is cut too short, The wire will be passing thru air before it reaches the gas difuser and contact tip.
This will cause lots of the things that you mention to happen.Does not hurt to check to see if the right feeder rollers, and contact tips are installed also.
Rollers should be replaced based on the hours that your robot runs.If you take your time and check all the things mentioned you will fix this. We even found poor contact tips before that had out of speck hole diameters.
Good luck.
