Hi for everyone , this Comau robot initially had problems with two batteries from control unit , two pieces of 2 volts connected in series and the controller display show : Batteria control unit scarica . After changing the batteries the error was not been displayed and after power source outages the robot memory was not lost . But one day after several voltage shocks from the main power source this robot lost some movement points , my question is whether there is any other battery to be changed or is an issue not related to the presence of any battery ? Other question is : this robot operator in every case of robot memory loss must reprogram the robot movements from zero ( i think he save just in RAM ) , I believe the operator can save the program to diskette and in case of memory or some movements loss can use the diskette to run the program , this is correct ? Thanks for any help .

Based on the serial number of the robot, the answer may change. There have been 4 different models of C3G controllers. The last one, C3G Plus, had itself 4 different hardware releases.
A proper answer requires knowing serial numbers and year of manufacture of robot and controller.
Write to service.robotics@comau.com with the required data and they may have an answer for you.
