First post...certainly not the last. Sorta new to the robotic welding world. Here is what i am seeing that i need some help with.
The robot is a Fanuc Arc Mate I 120 with a Lincoln Invertec Power Wave 450. I am running .045 dual shield. Some of the welds use a sine weave. The fixture I am using is flat and all points are in the same plane. This program has been running for 4 weeks and I have had the same problem twice. 2 days ago I turned the the system on and started welding and noticed all points have lifted a 1/4" in the z axis only. Both the robot and fixture are firmly secured to the floor and have not moved. It happened the exact same way the time before. Any thoughts? Button on the teach pendant I could be pushing? Any help is very much appreciated.
