Hello guys,
I am a baby now. I want to communicate between pc - robot arm (melfa rv 2aj) via rs232.
Like i said i am a baby so i have to learn to walk. But i need steps.
What must be my steps ? I mean how can i learn these operation. I need first step guys.
Can you help me about documents or website about this objects ?

This goes back a long time, but this is how I did it before.
Robot runs a separate program task dedicated to communications. If no secondary task is available, then the comm actions must be embedded in main program.
PC application (either terminal emulator for manual keystroke transmission or some program function for commanded string transmit) sends a [character string + <end of string character>] out the RS232 port to the robot's RS232 port. String is automatically kept in robot port's buffer. More sophisticated data checking & verification can be done.
Robot comm program pulls one character at a time (the command for the language was "GETC" for "GET Character") and builds a string. Loop this until buffer is empty or <end of string> character is found.
Process is reversed for robot => PC.
