Hi, I'm need two extended axes for an RJ-3i/S-430iW. I need to drive two 4hp, master/slave servos, plus an auxiliary encoder, but mostly just need the extended axes hardware. My problem is the age of the robot, Fanuc doesn't have the parts anymore, therefore massive lead time and cost. I'm considering a PLC implementation, and dropping the coordinated motion. I'd prefer to keep coordination, however. Also, if anyone reading this has any helpful suggestions, I would very much appreciate your input.
