Hey Gents,
Need help! Here is the situation during buyoff phase an E-stop is pressed, Robot is in tip dress program, Output set by robot to power motor on for tip dresser. Tip dress motor continues running.
It keeps getting brought back to Robot Dept. My conclusion is we need to drop 24V to the tip dress motor when an E-stop is pushed, In my experience PLC has always controlled whether we lose 24V. I feel this can be done by PLC Safety Monitoring and should kill 24V to device.
Is this correct or is there a way I can have the Robot set that OUTPUT OFF in this scenario.
