I notice this kickstarter project today, which kicked the goal within 23 hours. It claims to 3d print, laser engrave, solder, pick and place, draw and cnc probably as long as change the heads with this Dobot M1. This is not the first robotic arm i sawed, 7bot, uarm, makerarm...are also up on kickstarter. While they focused on different features, robotic arm starts to be versatile, not just a desk-developing platform. The Dobot M1 seems to be used on production line like traditional robotic arm like KUKA, FANUC...the visual system to pick and place, test tablet screen....
As a potential user, i searched on Amazon to buy robotic arm, while there is few of them can be something like M1, most of them is toy level staff. I'm wondering if they can make it out before next April (the date they promised to delivered), but it seems they already shipped out version 1.0 on time.
