As far as I'm aware, Notepad++ is just a text editor, no idea if there is any additional plugin that allows you to use it for online editing directly with the Kawasaki......News to me if it exists......
-
It looks like the plugin Kawasaki AS
-
Like I said, news to me if it exists, certainly looks like someone has created a plugin.......could be useful for sure.
-
Notepad++ is simply a text editor, isn't it? The last time I checked, Notepad++ is NOT a terminal emulator program.
-
That's what I was lead to believe too......but from the screenshot, there's a small 'power button' and 'IP address' I'm assuming is executing an app/emulator as a plugin.......
- This is out of my knowledge window as I don't use Notepad++......
- I am interested for any further information for this though, as I'm always up for trying alternative methods... -
Hi men me colege from Italy send me Notepad++ for Kawasaki
-
@ milhaushk...........
- Many thanks, I shall be having a play around with this................I've been playing around with it and it seems to work fine in most cases.
- Does not contain recent additional commands for AS, but as a basic editor/terminal emulator, I can see this being useful for programmers where they don't like the standard terminal environment.
- Carrying out a local save on the controller, modifying in the text editor and loading back in the updated data.
- It looks like this was developed back in 2010 via Kawasaki themselves (maybe as a personal project of someone).
- However I'd be very surprised if Kawasaki support this technically as I cannot find/can never find any documentation from Kawasaki relating to any programming by alternative applications other than KCWin/KRTerm and PCROSET/KROSET.
