I have a Denso RC8 robot and will be programming it to replace an RC3 we have running now. I'm looking at the AREA command and it uses a Vector variable. Can someone explain what a Vector is?
Thanks,
Jerry

Vector variables are part of the Global variables. V[1] = (X, Y, Z) value. So instead of coding Draw L, (10, 20, 30) you can code Draw L, V1 where V1 = (10, 20, 30). In the Area command, you use the Vector variable to define the size of the Area box
Example>
Area 2, P[50], V[10], 24, 55
P[50] is the center of the Area
V[10] is the dX, dY, dZ or sixe of the box
24 is the output to turn ON when in the area
55 is the position number to store the value of the robot position when it enters the Area box..
