I'm running WorkVisual 4.0.6_Build24 on Windows 10. Every time I open the DTM Catalog Management windows and click "Search for installed DTMs", the search always gets to about 13% before giving me the error shown in the attached image. Anyone know how I might fix this? Thanks!
Requested registry access is not allowed?

Alright, using Process Monitor I found that the error occurs when WorkVisual attempts to read the registry key HKCR\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{E31EA727-12ED-4702-820C-4B6445F28E1B}. For some reason access to the key is denied. I have tried changing the permissions on the key and even tried deleting the key, but RegEdit won't allow me to do either of those things. It's odd because I'm using an administrator account on this computer. Not really sure what to do here.

Well...
I am not 100% sure but I did face such kind of problem a long time back and the problem was related to the language settings on the computer. You may have to check your default language set in your control panel of the computer.
aahh yes, try to get KUKA support as I had to take it as well.
Good Luck.

The easiest solution for me wound up being reinstalling the operating system. Gotta say, people like to give Windows 10 a lot of flak, but the "Reset this PC" feature is pretty sweet. Re-installs the OS without disrupting any personal files. Anyway, that resolved my WorkVisual problem; the DTM catalog now updates without issue.
