Please help??? We purchased a used robot (RJ3iB with Arc-mate 100iB) and are setting it up to communicate with a PLC. I have installed the process I/O board and wired up the safety signals and CRM cables. Everything works correctly except I get a continuous "in teach mode" signal to the PLC and it does not matter what position the key switch is at. All communications are set-up correctly and enabled and we have double checked everything.
Note that this robot used to have an in-cabinet mounted I/O unit which we have un-plugged and I was wondering if something was set-up in the controller for this which is preventing my T1-T2-Auto signals from switching properly? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Found it!! Bad chip on the Process I/O board. Since we don't use the analog connection in this application, I will attempt to swap the chip to an unused socket. Thanx.

Hi,
Do you have the manual for Control Net communication of RJ-3 controller?
Thanks.
