Verify your ground connections - at the SMB in particular.
Check (or change) SMB battery.
Inspect SMB cable for damage.
Bad SMB "usually" gives different indication.
Is it always the same axis (or axes)?
Different or 1 axis ,or all .
I change electrical cable . Now i waiting
I have the same problem in my robot ABB-S3 and I think It is because of a battery...
It is highly possibly the signal cable.
Had this issue on our robot twice. Changed to a new signal cable and it never came back.
Had another customer had the same problem. Brought ABB on-site and confirmed it was the signal cable again.
I've run into this before with a 6400 S4C.
It was the SMB (Serial Measurement Board)
In last 2 weks not have problems .
