I am trying to learn socket messaging in Roboguide. I have a program in C which acts as a server and it works. I can read and write messages between cmd's using windows telnet command. To connect to my server I type in another cmd:
>telnet localhost 23
I also have some templates on socket messaging in Karel from Karel Reference Manual but I don't know how to properly configure virtual robot to be a client. I need to know:
1. What should be the IP address of virtual robot?
2. When I'm setting up a Client Tag, what is a proper IP address of my localhost server? (I need to put this in 'Remote:' filed, right?)
Generally I have a problem understanding how ethernet connection with virtual robot works. How to properly configure virtual robot so I can ping it from cmd?
