Hi!
I have a school project in hand and I need some help with it.
Task: Placing glass on the stand. On top each glass is separated with a plastic separator. Different types of glass have different concavities. In relation to its concavity, the first glass on the stand can have a different position so it won´t touch the support bar behind it and break. On bottom, there are gaps which separate the bottom part of each glass so they won´t touch each other.
Question: What is the best way to do it so that it is possible to switch between different gaps? For an example, I want to start the row from the 3-rd gap, I select the gap on HMI and KUKA will place it on the 3rd gap. PTP switching is tricky because each gap is just 17mm and stands are not exactly with the same size, but the space between the first gap and support bar is always the same. Some kind of sensor perhaps, that will stop X movement when certain distance from the support bar is reached and then moving on C?
I hope it´s not too confusing.
Thanks
