I need to change the axis limits for a robot within a confined cell but I'm not sure of the best way to do it. I don't have the Prog Toolbox option.
The limits that were set by the previous owners are now invalid as I had to define a new zero and master point (there was no way to find out where their point was) so I have constant errors telling me the limits have been exceeded. I can manually drive to points but it will throw up errors when asked to auto move to those same points.
My initial thinking was to move each joint and record the max and min rotation as the limits but this could cause the arm to drive through the base of the cell or out of the walls.
Is there a simpler method or does anyone have a step by step instruction for doing this? The Manual just says 'change the limits' and as I'm learning as I go it is beyond what I have read.
