I am currently in a situation where i need to power down the controller. However, i have been implementing changes into the programming over the past couple of weeks. The robot has run flawlessly until tonight where my operators threw the robot out of sequence and it wont do anything. it says Robot A currently resetting but it wont reset. I want to power down the controller since all my communications are good and i can move the robot by pendent. My question is will i lose all of my programming changes if i power down the controller or does it save to the program as i edit. Please help

No it should be OK. BUT WHY TAKE THE CHANCE??? BACK IT UP!!!!
In my opinion, and this has happened to me; if you don't back up your work and something happens and you lose it, then you got what you deserved.

Your right about that. Luckily the controller automatically saves the data, otherwise when I powered down the controller i would have been in some deep sh*t. It was backed up right after that though....
