I am in the process of setting up two M-710ic manipulators with one servo tool (gripper) on a R-30iB controller. I can manually set the variable to attach the tool and it works just fine, but I can't get the Attach or Detach instructions to work within the program. All I get is "TOOL-011 - Tool Change Timeout" The resolution for the alarm is to cold start and then call Fanuc if it still doesn't work.
It is a Multi-Arm setup with Robot 1 as Group 1, Robot 2 as Group 2 and the Servo Tool as Group 3, attached to Robot 2 with an ATI tool changer.
At this point I don't have a lot of extra information because I haven't had a lot of time to look into the problem. Hopefully someone has seen it before and can give me a few ideas before I get back to it.
I'm sorry there isn't much to go on. I'll add more details when I get back to it and I'll be sure to post my results regardless.
