Hi folks,
I'm not an engineer and all I have learned is from trail/error and google searches. I apologize in advance.
I am using a FANUC LR-Mate 200iB and a J3iB Mate CPU unconventionally to move a camera for stop-motion animation. The problem is that my stop-motion software and the robot are on two totally different systems. I am trying to get them to talk a little bit. I have a relay device that is controlled by my software (i.e. after camera shoot, trigger relay 0.10s) that I am trying to use to trigger DI[1] on the SDI101 port of the CRM79 on the CPU.
I think I figured out the wiring but could some one verify it for me. Diagram: http://imgur.com/3MUjZ75
My other problem is that I can't turn on the DI[1] in the I/O menu. I am getting the following error: Cannot set unsimulated input port. Could I get some orientation on that?
Thanks in advance.
