what controller? normally, you just switch the controller on, change the batteries and voila. not sure if that's the same with painting robots.

Hi Agentflees
We have RJ3 and R30 controllers at plant an the procedure is the same....keep the robot controller on and replace the batteries, after battery replacement a error message appear at pendant....BBALARM.....just reset....
Now if you mean that your battery holder is damaged...should be the same....2 cables with 2 screws....just keep the controller on during replacing that.....

AGENTFLEES is not referring to the robot's D batteries. He is referring to the D batteries that are inside of the robot controller cabinet. I believe he has an RH controller.
AGENTFLEES, what type of controller do you have?
