Hello,
I have specific issue on my project. We are in phase that we would like to switch from Robcad to PS/PD on some of our Robcad projects. At this moment I have license for very good tool named Robcad Connectivity Studies, so the complete robcad project is at PS/PD library. But I have big issue with weld spots importing and creating MFG's. Right know I use report from robcad with all weld locations coordinates and in PS/PD and those coordinates are used for creating new mfg's. For small amount of weld points is OK but we have to convert Robcad studies with 400 weld points and those import is very complicated.
Could you help me with this issue, or there is some of special license or tool for this converting?
Thank's for help.
How to import weld points from Robcad to PS/PD

This problem can be solved easily depending on your programming skills, I do this using a initial program written in vb.net, that converts a path file exported from robcad into a csv file, then a CustomDotNetCommand written with Tecnomatix SDK and registered into the Tecnomatix application that imports the csv and creates mfg points for the welds and locations for the vias.
I am unaware of any tool in PS/PD that can do this, other than if you exported an operation from PS/PD into a XML, then this can easily just be imported again with the Import "eBOP from file command", but this will not help you in your case.
I should say that unfortunately I cannot give you the tools I use as it is made by the company I work for, but am willing to help with any questions in writing the tools yourself, if you haven't programmed a line of code in your life then you might not even be considering this solution.
