Due to thermal expansion some parts we weld on warp.
I need to change an x y or z coordinate of the robot during an already running program based on i/o signals.
Is there a way to accomplish this without a PLC?

Could I use bglogic to change a position register that I use for an offset? or would that not take till the next time that statement is executed?
Unfortunately BG logic cannot be used to adjust PRs.
As far as offsetting, you have several options. You could use touch sensing, thru seam tracking, or a vision sensor.
What is that will be signaling the i/o to make the coordinate change?
I would have used Robot or Digital i/o with push buttons.
The camera method is probably better.
Hello.
I did it with the option DPM and Karel.
I gathered a small remote - 4 button. They allow you to run-time (welding) to adjust the trajectory of the axes X and Z.
