Hi guys,
recently I received this special gift (Motosim) in my office. I try to import the all.prm in a new cell created with a MH-50 robot (this is the robot currently used) but instead of having my "real" cell, the results are:
- A message that said "Illegal Robot" or cell with a robot flatted on the floor with the axes mixed together in an incredible puzzle!
What goes wrong? Any ideas will be very useful.
Thanks
MotosimEG

Double-check that you are bringing in the correct robot model (compare with the plate on the back of your actual robot). They need to match. Let us know how it goes from there.

Hi roboprof,
Thanks for your answer.
In the plate of the actual robot is written: YR-MH00050-B00 (guess that the model is MH00050-B00), unfortunately the model in the library are all with an A instead of a B.
I think that is the problem. How get/create the right model? -
What version of Motosim EG are you using? If it's an old enough version and it doesn't have your robot model, you may want to contact your local Yaskawa office / representative to see if they can send you an upgraded version of the software or a model for your robot. There may also be a substitute arm model that they may want you to use.

It's a 3.63.
I will contact Motoman (hope the problem is solvable and with no/cheap costs!!!).
Thanks. -
I remember that for a while, there was a recommendation to use MH5-E00 instead of B00 since B00 was not available. You may want to try that just to see if it works any better....
-
MH5-E00?
It's correct or you want to say MH00050-E00? -
Sorry, my misread. I guess I need bifocals ...

Hi,
MotoSim doesn't know the B00 models. You can only choose standard robot models (-A00).
Difference between MH50-A00 and MH50-B00 is just zeroing function. A00 is the standard model, B00 is the same robot but with holes for zeroing. You can use A00 model without any problem.
