I work on KR-60-3 Kuka's I would love to have more info on them like a parts list and exploded diagrams. The reason I am posting now though is because we run a rotary union and encoder on the end tool and the cables that connect the encoder often develop connection problems most likely due to the repetitive motion they go thru day in and out. I will post the e-mail request to find a better cable from my superior below, anyone with info that can up my learning curve on this model KUKA please feel free to help me out, also any info on better quality cables would be greatly appreciated.

There is some cable I would like to get for the KUKA buff robots. It is a flexible cable that is made for robots to with stand millions of bends and not break. What I was able to find didn’t meet the spec’s we need. So I would like to challenge y’all to find it. It’s two different cables that we need may even need to have them made.
1. The first is the servo cable, which will be braided with 6 twisted pairs or 12 conductors that is 22 awg wire.
2. The second is the power cable, there are 8 conductors in this cable 4 are 12 awg and 4 are 22 awg this cable also needs to be braided.
The company I was looking at was OLFLEX but whatever w can find would be great. Happy hunting.
