Yes what do you want to know?

I would like to know how the unit load would work with setup. How would you set it up to have both robots building the same unitload on the same build station? Dont remember seeing anything that would do that. I dont really want to hack up pallet tool because this customer wants the abilty to add and change unitloads easily. So custom handling tool is going to be out.

The unit load is exactly the same between both units. So is the pallet station. You have the PLC updating the pallet info after each drop and controlling which robot makes each drop.

If both robots are in production and one robot is placing a box then if the PLC was to update the other robot with a new layer count wouldnt the robot have to be aborted to make the updates?
-
no! what robot and software version are you using and are you using a plc?
-
I would be using two Fanuc m410 140H R30iB V8.20 robots and most likely a compact logix or control logix PLC.

The robots I have set up are using group inputs and outputs and a PLC program to process the info. I send a bit to the PLC and then I receive unit load data. This program is run every cycle.
