You may be able to fix this by connecting a USB keyboard and mouse and a DVI monitor directly to the ports on the motherboard. You should be able to either boot into Safe mode, or suppress the startup of KSS by holding down the Shift key from the moment the Windows XP splash screen appears. If you can get into Windows without KSS starting, you should be able to get to the Control Panel and change the IP back.
Failing that, you'll need to restore a full system image using a KSR USB stick.

Hmm... Not sure either of these will work, but they're the first two things I would try:
1. Shut down the controller. Hook up a monitor/keyboard/mouse combo to the robot controller PC. Start up. If you can access the HMI (which I don't actually think you will) then change the IP address back there.
2. If that doesn't work, through windows, navigate to C:\KRC\ROBOTER\Config\User\Common\VxWin\knet.config and find the following text in the file:
[HostTable]
"Windows" = 192.168.0.1 (I'm thinking yours will read 192.168.1.1)Change the IP address to the correct address. Save the file, shut down the controller and power it back on. I'm hoping that this file is one of the files that gets read on every start-up. If it is, I think you will be good to go. If not, someone else may have to chime in on how to force a "Reload Files" start-up via the configuration files rather than the HMI.
Good luck!

where can i find DVI monitor port on motherboard ? Please tell me something else, I want to get back the HMI mode. -
If you have an early KRC4 then your motherboard is missing the DVI port and you need to connect a pci-express graphics card.

you are right. there is no DVI port.
do you know any other solution to solve the problem. -
Do you have a KSR stick?
Failing that, you'll need to open the motherboard case and install a Video card. A generic PCI (PCI-Express?) video card should be sufficient, one that can handle fallback video modes without requiring installation of special drivers.

Thank you all. Its working now....... I fixed it by following your instructions. Feeling happy.
BTW i realized when i turn on the robot the controller response is slow to start than before. can anyone tell me what exactly i have to do ?
