I have been programing our 2000ia165f rj3ib robot for awhile but am green to wiring IO to the robot.
We purchases an ati qc110 tool changer and collision sensors to add to the end of arm tooling on our robot. We were not happy with Fanuc's collision sensing on our robot and wanted to add some security to the end of arm tooling.
The com1 jumper is set to the "A" position on the servo amplifier board.
I believe this means I should be getting pnp prox sensors?
Also some questions about the collision sensor.
The sensor directions warn.
"CAUTION: The user is responsible for connecting the Protector to their controls and providing an "electrical load" in series with the collision sensing switch. The switch is rated for instrument level signals of 125mA (max.) at 28V (max.) AC or DC."
Can I pass the 24 volts directly to robot input 1 or do I need to add a "load"?
