Hello all,
I am new to the forum. Basic introduction. I work with Young's Welding Inc. in southeast Kansas. We have two robots one is an older model PanaRobot while our new one is a KUKA KR6-2 with a KRC2 ED 05 Cabinet. Our KUKA is set up on a seventy foot gantry system with Servo-Robot Sensor system. We Manufacture Duct work, Stacks and structural for the concrete Mfg. industry, concrete forms for bridge work and column and flare forms. We also produce a variety of vacuum tanks for the oil industry as well. We are looking for instruction on Seam tracking. We will be utilizing the seam tracking on stainless steel butt welds and would like to use this on T-welds as well but have been told that the t-joints may be a problem on stainless do to the reflection off of the vertical joint reflecting into the camera. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Cale Young
