Hi! Please, I would appreciate if someone could help me. Last month we bought our first used Kuka (2001) with KRC1 controller. We tried to clone the hard drive disk (into another IDE hdd) and noticed that the original one has two partitions, one primary with windows OS and programs, and a second one with folders named "KRC1_CD" and "Spanish" (it did not work/boot).
However, we cloned it directly from the original HDD to a SD card (8GB plugged with adapter) using a program for windows OS. KRC1 boots perfectly (we operated the robot and ran programs), but when we connect the SD card to a computer we can access only to the primary partition. So we assume that KRC1 behaves in the same way due to "windows" architecture. However, when we plug the SD card into a Linux or Mac OS the two partitions appear with all the files.
My questions are: is the second partition necessary for operating the robot in some cases? Without this partition KRC1 should not boot, therefore it recognize it?
Thank you very much,
