Dear Friends,
Had anyone used Roboforth Language for programming industrial?
How user friendly it is compared to other industrial robots.
Each and every feedback is very valuable for me.
Thanks and Regards
Sachin

Thanks SkyeFire for the response.
Actually we are at initial stage where we have kinematics, mechanical structure and motors.
I was wondering if i can monitor the motor current and gerenerate the stop signal if motor current exceeds defined limit.
This signal i can use for stoping the robot to avoid further damage.
I want to know if this is the right way or is there any other method to detect collision.
Regards
Sachin
Dear Friends,
We are working on the development of Industrial Robot.
We want to implement the collision detection feature in the robot.
Can any one guide us on how it can be done.
Thanks in advance
Sachin
Dear Friends,
I had done a very interesting application of printing the graphics on the fuel tank of motor cycle using normal industrial printhead.
Challenges were like:
Accurate path teaching.
Maintaining the gap of 3 to 5 mm between fuel tank surface and printhead.
Fuel tank is having the curved surface.
Integration with Printhead.
Development of Inks.
Biggest Challenge: Fuel tank is made through seam welding and the surface gets deviated by 10 to 12 mm and still i have to maintain the gap of 3 to 5mm between the surface and printhead.
I have done this with a simple method where LVDT is used to identify the deviation and same is given to robot in forms of XYZwpr as offset.
Outcome of the project is we have reduced the costing of graphics by 97% as only ink is used for graphics and eliminating costly stickers.
Hope you liked the project.
Regards
Sachin
Dear Friends,
Collaborative Robot is really a good concept but most suits to service robot.
For industrial environment decision for use of fencing will depend on the risk assessment of tool attached.
If you attach sharp tool then it will hurt no matters even if robot is collaborative.

Dear Friends,
Has anyone used Epson C4 Robot, They are claiming 0.37 sec for 25-300-25 mm cycle.
Where they stand on their claim?
OR
I need to choose a robot for my fast application of pick and place.
I am impressed by Nachi MZ07 specification and Epson C4 is near to it.
Can any one suggest which is fastest?
Thanks and Regards
Sachin
How about the speed, is it fast than other robots of same category?
Dear Friends,
Has any one use the Nachi's MZ07 fastest robot.
Can you please share your experience on the same.
Thanks and Regards
Sachin
Thanks Skyefire for clarification...
Dear TygerDawg,
Apart from payload and inertia any other limiting factor like taking a decision which gripper will pick which material/ vision limitation etc..
Kindest Regards
Sachin
Dear Friends,
I have seen many videos of delta robot integrated with vision system for pick and place automation from running conveyor to stationary place.
But in each case, delta robot is handling only one piece at a time.
Is it possible for the robot to have two grippers which will increase the throughput of the system.
I am not sure it is technically possible or not, but may be possible with two TCP.
For your views Please.
Thanks and Regards
Sachin
Dear Friends,
Has any one used MZ07 new small robot from Nachi?
If yes please share your experience, i am thinking to use it for one of high speed application.
Thanks and Regards
Sachin
Hi,
I think instead of going for vision or force torque sensor which add more cost to your project, you can try for through beam sensors.
I not sure of your part, but a rough thought is that when you pick a ring take it to checking station where you can have 3-4 through beam sensors arranged in such a way that entangled ring can be detected. In this case may be you can more through beam sensors depending on your part.
Hope this Works.

Sachin
I know many company companies have the delta robot, but can any one tell me are these robot costlier than articulate robots?
What should be the price of flexpicker...
Dear Friends,
Has any one used Delta robot?
Are Delta Robot Cheap or costlier than Articulate robot?
Whose delta Robots are used most?
Regards
Sachin
Dear Friends,
Can any one tell me what is the cost difference between 6 axis robot e.g. 5 kg pay load and scara robot.
I can do my application with scara robot but need to decide if there is any major cost difference.

Dear Friends,
I want to know, if there is any integrator in INDIA for implementing a Bottle packaging automation using robots.
The Integrator must be aware of cGMP and FDA norms for automation in pharma company.
Waiting for your response.
Thanks and Regards
Sachin
Dear friends,
Can anyone tell me how the cleanroom robots are different from the regular robots?
Also i want to do robotic handling in pharceutical environment what cares should be taken, if any one had worked in pharam please guide me
Thanks and regards

Dear Friends,
i am trying to do a fettling operation with unversal-robots robot,
I have attached the tool to Robot and component on which fettling is to be done is aluminum casting.
I am struggling to get the required finish. can any one tell how important is the robot stable path following.
I have used the ATI deburrign tool which has radial compliance.
Can any one suggest what else can be done for smooth finish.
Thanks and Regards
