For both brand we need to work with the wrist down, because the max payload 1000kg with abb that mais ocorre in lower performance, I decide to move forward with Kuka.
Arrive next month. Thanks guys for all your comments.

The spec on the 8700 is up to 1000Kg with the wrist down, but you might be approaching the max out of the robot. The acceleration would be reduced, for sure. And that is only for the arm model with the shortest reach.
Yes... we develop crazy solutions. For this application we need to be capable to transfer payload’s between 550-750kg + grippper.
Thanks for your time!
Hi everyone,
I need to decide what robot we should buy to packing operations, I have doubts about Titan 1000 pl (1000kg) and abb8700 (800kg).
In terms of payload both responde to what we need.
How’s best in your’s opinions:
- best mechanical
- less maintenance
- working velocities
- programming facilities for beginners
- The representation of the robot brand in the local market where our customers are, do you think is fundamental to this decision or due to little maintenance or the need to replace parts in the first 10 years there is no such concern.
Thanks for all comments.
