Thank you for the ideas!
I tried increasing the payload a bit to see if that solved the problem. But it isn't yet.....
After four days we had the problem again.
Now I'm going to try Skooters idea!
Thanks!

Last year the robot was completely checked, new filters batteries and the oil/grease in gearboxes was replaced.
Do you think that such error can come from lack of maintenance?
Hello All,
Got a question about Error 50141: Jog or speed error.
I have a robot in Palletizing application.
Boxes arrive on a table where they are formed together.
Robot arrives and grabs the formation and puts it on the pallet.
When the pallet is full, the pallet truck driver drives into the robot cell and removes the full pallet.
Robot picks pallet from stack and sets it down, then starts stacking again.
The problem is that if the robot is waiting at its home position, and the driver drives through the light lock to take the pallet away.
Robot goes into auto stop, when pallet is gone driver starts robot.
Robot executes start proc and starts 99 times out of 100.
Only 1 out of 100 pallets gives this error 50141....
Robot: Abb 6400R M99
Irb6400R/2.8-200
Controller: Abb S4C
Hope someone can help me, don't know where to start looking.
Have already reduced the speed from v1500 to v1000 but gives no difference.
Since it was a fully functional robot before testing the DSQC328, my assumption was there should be a backup somewhere.
On the electrical side of troubleshooting, make sure the connections between the panel board and the backplane are good.
Does this 'Unexpected error' occur when pressing the teach pendant deadman switch or when changing jog coordinates?
I bought this robot from an auction, had a company reinstall the software on it.
Then I set up the IO prameters and created a program for it...
and that's how it's worked until now...
Then I didn't make any more backups because I thought I had enough using the IO parameter and the program.
The 'Unexpected error' occur when you go to jogging screen and try to jogg.
Also the light on the front from the motor turn on button is of and not blinking...
Is there another solution?
I only have the I/O parameters and the program.
The other parameters I didn't change...
I agree that it starts with just being able to jog.
I tried to reload the io parameter and it didn't make any difference.
I can't load the program, because i can't get to that settings at all.
Thanks for your response Lemster68.
I can't move the robot, no movement at all....
The motor on button on the front does not blink and it does not respond when pressed.
I find it difficult to indicate where the problem may lie...
When I try to switch from linear to rotational jogging I get this message.
Hello,
I tried to reload the parameters but it didn't make any difference.
I can't reload the program because of the system error...
I can't update rev counters either because I can't jog the robot
Does anyone have any idea what I can do?
Greets Rick
I Just made a new elog and put it with this message!
The MS & NS LEDs on both dsqc 328 are green, as well as on the panel board and the Robot computer!
I have the IO parameter file and the rapid program for my application.
Thanks for your help so far, I really appreciate it!
If I continue to the jogging page, I also get the following message:
Display MoreAre all the Panel Unit LEDs on? Which ones are off?
Regarding the 20223 e-stop status conflict error, I would:
1) Make sure all connectors to the Panel Unit are fully seated.
2) Cycle every e-stop button about 10-times with the power on. Every means all external plus the teach pendant & controller front panel. E-stop contacts can get resistive in some environments if not cycled periodically, doing it with the power on allows the make/break arcing at the contact to break down residue.
3) Power down the controller, power up, and then see if the 20221 & 20223 errors reappear.
Skooter Thank You!!!!!
I did what you said, and I got rid of the e-stop errors.
All that's left is the system failure state error....

Bridged them all and the lights are all on on...
Tomorrow I'm gonna try what you would do!
Thanks so far guys!
No, the D328 is not the panel board, that is for IO. The panel board is where all your e-stops, auto stops and such are wired into. D509 I think would be the number for that one.
ohke thanks
This leads me to a problem that occured on those old systems using them nowadays:
Sometimes the operating system gets corrupted, then it helps to install the system from boot diskettes.
The first error message after I exchanged the dsqc 328 was error 10014.
At that time the emergency errors were not yet there.
They came later after a few restarts, after I put back original the dsqc 328.
Is there any other way to solve this without reinstalling the system by boot diskettes?
I don't have the original boot diskettes...
I was looking for maybe some IO errors like system inputs or outputs, but none found. Maybe you have a bad panel board. Do you have manuals for the robot? If not, look in the manuals sub forum here.
So what's the best step to take?
Disconnect dsqc 328 unit and try again?
Panel board is the dsqc 328, right?
I shortened error log a little because I thought it was careless for you guys.
Here's the total.
how do you think I can find the cause of the system failures?
I've checked all the wiring I could've hit.
But I didn't find anything out of ordinary.
Is it possible to read the status of the emergency stop in the teach pendant?
And can the software also interrupt the emergency stop?
I'm gonna take a closer look
you'll hear from me
Got all the plugs out of the D328 and put them in the bought one, didn't pull a cable out of one of the plugs.
