One additional question:
I have been reading thru the controller operators manual, specifically the section focusing on I/O setup & configuration.
When the robot is setup as the I/O Link master, the manual shows connection from JD4 (JD1A) into process I/O Boards, then into a model A I/O unit.
I will have to confirm tomorrow morning, but I don't believe my robot has a process I/O board installed.
If this is the case, will it work properly to go direct from JD4 (JD1A) on the robot control board directly to JD1B on the model A I/O unit?
Also, must the 24vdc power for the i/o unit be supplied from the robot control directly, or can an external 24v PSU be used?
