What controller version do you have? KRC2 or KRC4?
There is limited info on CROSSCOM because of its proprietary nature.
There are other ways to accomplish what you are trying to do. CDREAD/ WRITE is one way. There is also KRLEthernetXML that there is info on the forum here that will be helpful.
What exactly are you trying to do?

Can anyone help me with a used KUKA robot third party appraisal or know of someone that offers these services?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

What are the requirements for installing a used robot? All electrical high voltage connection work will be done by licensed contractors and inspected. The robot is a 2005 KRC2 reasonably used.
1. What are the requirements for UL testing the controller and the robot itself?
2. Are there any other requirements per RIA for mechanical servicing?
3. Is there a checklist that Kuka recommends for mechanical and electrical testing;
4. What are the software testing requirements after initial startup?Rest assured low voltage circuit will also be inspected. Any help would be very helpful.
Thank you,
RA

This robot costs more than $180 k. This is not a cheap robot.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I could use the latest version, I guess. I am proactively trying to learn this before I have to apply this on a research project. We will be purchasing the latest version of the software most likely, so if you have the latest that would help otherwise any would help also.Thank you for your time.
