In my ladder I have 50054 - 30076 and 50053 - 30077. 30076 & 30077 are I/O range for my DNET network. When changing switch position 50054 stays false and 50053 stays true.
I have seen the mentioned thread but is of no help in my situation.

In the ladder is where I found that it is not changing. I watch 50053 and 50054 while changing switch position but bit status does not change state.
Yes, I can change and create programs. Teach pendant responds just signals do not change.
I have an ES165 robot with a NX100 controller that we purchased and reconfigured from a welder application to material handler. The issue I have encountered is the teach lock will not release.
When I switch the pendant from teach to play mode, the screen changes from teach to play mode selected but my I/O in the PLC does not switch. When I look at the robot CIO, 50053 and 50054 do not change state when the selector is switched. I have checked the different parameters and all seems to be in order.
Any suggestions please.
I have a client that wants to take one of his ES165 arms with a NX100 controller and reuse it for a waterjet table. My question to this forum is how or what software do I need to be able to program the robot locations that would normally be generated with CAM software?
Thanks.
Thanks for the drawings. Exactly what I need to resolve my issue. Can you tell me what document number I can find these in?
Thanks
Yes. In the manipulator manual for an XRC controller they give you the schematic drawings but in the manual for the ES165 manipulator there are no such drawings and I have not been able to find them on Motoman site with all the manuals.
I have seen the drawings in the manipulator manuals. What I am looking for is the terminal to terminal wiring points for all the hardware in the controller similar to what is found in the manipulator manuals for the XRC controllers. If you have access to other manuals and look at 149330-1, the last 20 or so pages give you the internal schematics. That is what I am looking for for the NX100.
Thanks.
Were can I find a manual or a document number with the internal wiring of an NX100 controller? I have checked on Motoman web site, but cannot find wiring details only general info.
Thanks.
Looking for a manual that shows all internal wiring connection for NX100 Controller similar to what was made for XRC Controller.
Hello
A couple of questions out there for the experts.
I picked up a couple of ES165 arms with NX100 controllers.
1) I want to reconfigure from weld app to handling. Is the procedure similar to XRC controller?
2) NOT ASKING FOR PASSWORD. Just asking if the factory password for the NX100 is the same as the XRC?
3) This controller came with 2 extra axis for the weld application. I presume that when I re-initialize the controller I can remove them from the config, then remove the hardware?
Thanks.
I replaced the XFB with the new one with all jumper and switch setting the same. When the controller came up it alarmed with a comms fault on device 4 (XFB). That is why I questioned if there was a firmware issue, but I think the XFB is defective since I get the same error in a different controller.
Thanks.
Is the MRC teach pendant compatible with the XRC controller? I have a client that is trying to sell an XRC with a MRC pendant.
I do not think it is. I think the connectors are even different, but what to confirm since I have never worked on a MRC
All switches and jumpers are set the same as my existing board.
In the IO setup, the controller knows something is at address 4 but does not identify the board.
Have XRC controller
XCO01C System ROM 6.33 Boot ROM 7.02
XSP01 System ROM 1.31 Boot ROM 1.02
WRCA#0 System ROM 6.26-00 Boot ROM 1.04
I currently have a JARCR-XFB01B Rev D01 FW 2.00-00 devicent card that work fine.
I purchased a spare devicenet card JARCR-XFB01B Rev D01 FW 2.01-01 that I cannot get the controller to recognize.
Is my controller firmware not able to see this revision of the devicenet card?
Thanks.
Looking for pointers on setting up my I/O over devicenet.
I have the devicenet card install and communicating. Set up for 112(120) bits of data
Scanner is mapped to word 2 bit 0 thru word 5 bit 15
I have looked thru the conncurrent IO Manual, but is not clear on how to accomplish what I want.
Currently I see my first digital output 41 #1060 appearing as word 2 bit 16 and I see Remote Mode Set at word 2 bit 3, Play Mode Set at word 2 bit 4, Teach Mode Set at word 2 bit 5
I am looking for information on how to map controller internal I/O to appear on devicenet. eg Servo ON... and is there a way to get DOUT 1 and DIN 1 to be my first available IO
Thanks.
Hello
Can anyone point me to document number or location of said documents for the parameters CIO, FD, S1D, S2D, SVD, SVxG, SVMxG, RCD ... ETC. Basically all parameters that are not listed in the typical manual.
Thanks.
Does any one who the manufacture of the JZNC-XPP02 teach pendant connectors are or have a part number?
Thanks.
