Is it possible to import robots that are not on the online library?

Pretty sure I already know the answer to this but just curious to know the max liner speed on the motoman robots regarding the GP25 and GP50. The guys here say the Fanucs run at 4000mm max and I thought the Motomans were 1500mm is that correct?

Does anyone know how to calculate the max acceleration for the robot?

The data inside the door won't do much good if the robot has been crashed hard a lot. You will need to line up the marks and create new home postions. We had a SK-16 that had the B-axis off by 20 pulse counts and made it almost impossible to move in world coordinates. After we fixed the abso data worked like a dream.

I'm not sure if they still have it or not but we purchased the platinum package from them years ago which gives you all the passwords and parameters. It's a bit pricey but worth it if you are always changing them around or repurposing robots. We bought a lot of robots too so a lot of times if we needed things turned on they would do that for us at no charge.

We figured it out. Need to go into the saftey menu under misc.

We had to remove out pendent and get a new one but for now we are booting it up with a monitor and mouse. When we boot up it has a fault for no teach pendent detected is there a way to bypass that and run without?

It really depends on what you are comfortable with. I personally like Motoman over Fanuc but that's my preference. They both have safety units now Fanuc id DCS and Motoman has FSU. Programming language is very similar in my opinion. Motoman has more options standard I feel the Fanuc does things like cubes and collision detection. The biggest thing is price. If you just buy them straight up Motoman's are a lot cheaper and perform just as good in my opinion.

I know this might be a dumb question but how do you put the robot in a machine lock? I mostly work with Motoman so its a bit new with the Fanucs and where things are located.
