It seems that the robotstudio version has to match as well. From the release notes:
Software requirements
• Windows 7 or Windows 10 operating system
• RobotStudio 6.06
• RobotWare 6.01 or above
• Virtual PickMaster 3.50 or above
The problem is that i cannot find vers 6.06 anywhere. Is there someone still using it and maybe can share it with me?
Cheers,
Rivo

Make sure you're using a matching RobotWare release...Most PowerPac's require the same RW release, so UberDuber PowerPac 6.06 requires RW 6.06.xx
Download 6.06.01
http://www.abb.com/abblibrary/Dow…T86iS4MuTZlRA==It's not the full installer, so you have to use RobotStudio to install it... I just placed it in the same folder as the RS executable (to avoid having to type the whole path) and renamed it to RW.rspak
open the command window (start > run > cmd) and CD to your bin location and type....
robotstudio.exe -install rw.rspak -accepteulaOr you can type the full path from any location if you feel so inclined.
Then - build a new system in RS and make sure you select RW 6.06.xx and you should be good to go.
This...
This is what I needed. I just assumed that the latest software on ABB website is compatible. Thank You for pointing that out.
Ran it like you described, worked like a charm. Would the outcome be the same when id install it from RobotApps?
But still.. when I've added all the components in my picking application i get an error:
RobotStudio .NET exception: Method not found: 'System.Threading.Tasks.Task RobotStudio.API.Internal.IApiControllerConnection.RequestMastership(RobotStudio.API.Internal.ApiMastershipResource)'.

I'll try to figure it out but if someone knows what its about then feel free to share
Thanks!
I tried to run Robotstudio on two clean virtual machines yesterday. Virtual machines downloaded from Windows official webpage.
The version i use for robotstudio are the latest from their homepage.
Could someone please confirm that the latest Robotstudio and Picking PowePac are running on their computer and there are no problems? Just so I could make sure this is a problem on my side.
Or better jet, if someone could take the time and install the latest software - with picking - and tell me how they got it running.
I'm installing all the software by default settings, with administrator rights. If there is a problem with installation it must be very non-intuitive.
I have also asked for help from ABB but that will probably take more time than i have.
Thank You,
Rivo
Hello again,
I'll add a error description of what happens if I add all the components to the picking module. The system crashes and an error is given:
Base exception: MissingMethodException
Method not found: 'System.Threading.Tasks.Task RobotStudio.API.Internal.IApiControllerConnection.RequestMastership(RobotStudio.API.Internal.ApiMastershipResource)'.
at PickMasterPP.DataLayer.LgController.<SetBaseFrames>d__21.MoveNext()

at PickMasterPP.UI.TabPickMaster.<ShowBaseFrameCalibrationManager>d__5.MoveNext()
--- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown ---
at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw()
Maybe that will help someone understand what might be the problem.
Thanks,
Rivo

Your code didnt include the "709-1 DeviceNet Master/Slave" option but even if I added it, didnt change anything. I can see that the two codes are different but both of them seem to do the same thing.
I'm pretty lost here, I've already tried it on another laptop and a virtual machine. I've also tried the 32-bit version. Nothing.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Rivo
Hi,
I have just installed RobotStudio 6.07.01 SP1 with RobotWare 6.07.01
I've downloaded the Picking Powerpack 6.06. with the Virtual Pickmaster 3.54.
When i've added the picking controller a warning appears:
My configuration for the options is:
I dont see what i'm missing. I've also tried "One I/O board DeviceNet " option from PickMaster IO configuration selection but its still the same.
I tried to use an older Robotware 6.05 version as well. This worked, but the system crashed as soon as I wanted to calibrate the base frame. Conveyors/Workareas/Cameras i've added are all default settings.
Thank you,
Rivo
