Thanks for the answer.

Howdy, I have a simple question, but I can't seem to get an answer from the focus center. I've left a voicemail, but haven't got an answer back. I got customer that needs a new hard drive for his KRC4 and I have a quote for one, but another customer is also needing a new hard drive. Do all KRC4's use the same hard drive or will I have to tell Kuka my controller serial number and wait for another quote?
Id imagine that they all use the same hardware, but any info would appreciated.
Thank you, that’s exactly what I needed.
That crappy menu is called the Icon Editor, and the first thing I do is disable it.
Press Edcmd then on the icon editor side press next until you get to the last page. Then press exit icon.
Hello. so I’m still relatively new to Fanuc robots, but I’ve worked with a-lot of robots. I can’t provide the specific info on this robot at the moment, but the programming interface is throwing me off. The last Fanuc I worked on the program took up the whole screen and I used F1-5 to pull up menus for I/O and other stuff like if statements. That robot had already been integrated into a work cell, so I don’t know if they changed anything with the menu or what. The robot I'm working on now is brand new and keeps splitting the screen in half when you select a program, with your code on the left and a little touch screen interface on right. Only problem is this touch screen seems to be missing some of the functions the other robot had. Such as I couldn’t set my tool or user frame with the auto fill options like R[...]=...+... I have to actually type in R[2]=GI[5]+5 or UTOOL_NUM=5. Is there like an advanced programming mode or some way to go back to what I’m guessing was an older version of UI? Typing in the entire syntax on the teach pendant is Painfully slow.
tldr: I pull up a program and the screen splits with a crappy teaching interface on one side, how do I get rid of this or is there an advanced version of it with more options.
this is on my phone so I’m sorry about format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help, the replies lead me in right direction
Hello, I'm trying to make some decisions based on the current robot position for a automatic homing program. For example... If [Current position.X] > 500 then...action...ENDIF... But I can't find anything for this. Are the position values for x,y,z stored in a register some where? are they based off of world or the user frame I have active? I'm new to Fanuc robots so hopefully it's something simple.
the robot is a R-30iB/M-10iA, I'm not sure of what software version, but it was purchased within the last year.
Your best bet is to either us a camera to find the correct orientation of the part, or have some sort of mechanical stop that places the part correct position everytime.
