Is there a way in the IRC5P to verify that the correct job has been sent to controller from the PLC before the robot starts the job? What I am looking to accomplish here is that the PLC sends a job to the controller. The controller verifies that it has selected the correct job from the job table, and then outputs back to the PLC that it has indeed selected the correct job. Then the PLC will allow the robot to continue painting if the sent is the job selected. If not, it triggers an alarm.
