.... tataaa no connection anymore.
Reasonable remark! Thanks!
Unfortunately we don't have clamp tool.
But I think, main circuit breaker will cut it off before this point will heat up to 300C.

Good day!
We have KUKA KR2150 and (V) KRC2 built in 2002, and we're still trying to start it up.
Yesterday I noticed sensible flickering on my KCP2 monitor.
I'm not sure, but I do not remember such visual noise on previous runs.
It looks like moving horisontal transparent blue(?) lines about 1cm height with "comma" at it's end (on soft buttons).
What maybe possible reasons of this? Is it problem with monitor or with interference?
(Yesterday was absolutely a "quiet" day - no any working equipment around.)
(I feel like I just got an Oscar
There is two M8 rusted threads. We've cleaned it to metal with rotating brush.
16mm2 cable with well-soldered O-terminals, bolted with DIN912 M8х25 screws with washers.
And also 16mm2 20cm loop to use second thread.
Now it's clear!
Thank you!
Good day!
We have KUKA KR2150 and (V)KRC2, and now we're try to start it up.
"Operating Instructions" says, that robot body must be connected with separate wire 16mm2 to KRC2.
And on KRC pannel, I can see a beautiful screw connection for it (#12 on image).
But I can't see anything suitable on robot's connection panel (#4 is located in nowhere).
So, should I connect it just to foot bolts?
P.S. And btw, is that connection is neccessary for first run of robot? Or i can use only data and power cable (X20 X30) for it?
(Because, as I understand, X20 includes two grounding pins)
Is it for human safety or I'll burn down robot controls if will not connect it?
Good day!
We have KUKA KR2150 and (V)KRC2 (NOT ed5) built in 2002 with pretty old version of KSS 4.1.7.
Is our DSE-IBS 3.02 compatible with RDW2 v1.20 card?
(originally we have RDW1 card in our robot)
Sure, but we are interested to do it ourselves (Let's say, it is for "education purposes").
Martin84, thank you for diagrams, but it is the same as we have (for cabinet) - and I'm searching for pinout of X30 and X31 located on robot (or want be sure that is the same).
Good day!
We have just bought KUKA KR150 KRC2 (built in 2002) for simple drilling applications, but mostly for education purposes.
Unfortunately our robot has no cables X20-X30 and X21-X31. (Seller have tested robot with his own cables). So now we're trying to make new cables ourselves.
We have circuit diagrams for KRC2, but don't have wiring diagrams for robot, and do not have any CD's.
Can anybody give me a wiring diagram for our robot, or just confirm that pins on X20-X21 is "one-to-one"?
And for X30-X31 is also "one-to-one"?
Is there any other requirements for cables X20-X21 except wires diameter (AWG)?
For X21-X31 we plan to use "Unitronic FD CP TP (plus)" cable - is it suitable for this application? (this is an industrial twisted pair shielded cable)
P.S. I've been trying to find answers on this forum (especially in Manuals section) and in the Internet without any successes - so will appreciate any help!
