Hi #2
Thanks for your response, but I'm not interested in the BRAKE_TEST time interval. I know where to alter this in the menu.
I'm looking for the interval between MASTERING with the tuning fork attached to the tool, which has to move down to the REFERENCE SWITCH as stated in KUKA.SafeOperation 3.5 - Point 7.7.1.
I've found this text passage in the manual that states:
Request
The following events cause a mastering test to be requested:
• Robot controller is rebooted (internal request)
• Robot is remastered (internal request)
• I/O driver is reconfigured (internal request)
• Only relevant for mastering test via reference switch: Input $MASTERINGTEST_REQ_EXT is set externally, e.g. by a PLC (external request)
So I guess there is no such thing as a specific time interval between $MASTERINGTEST_REQ_INT being SET HIGH
Hi
I've got two KR C 4 - KR 300 (KSS 8.6) with SafeOperation, that has to do a Mastering- and Brake-test once in a while. The Brake-test is set to 46h(Default) between test's, but I can't find an option or a page in the documentation that says how long there is between Mastering-tests!
Something tells me that it's done about every 200h, but I can't seem to find the documentation for it.
One of the KR C4's has just asked for a Matering test due to time overdue. (Can't remember how long since activation)
Could some of you point me to a document that states the default hours between test?
Thanks

Does anyone know a way to change the colour of these arrows, when you commit changes in WorkVisual?
It would be easier if they had different colours like NO ACTION is blue, ADD is red etc.
massula hermann Thanks for your responses.
A KUKA programmer has been with us for two days to answer and guide us on these topics. He also told us that KUKA.Sim on it's own just was to simulate lightly and get the cycle times of a setup etc. Nothing fancy.
But he talked about some new software that was in the making from KUKA that maybe could be similar to RobotStudio and Fanuc's RobotGuide.
I hope this is the case and it would help every KUKA programmer in future offline simulations.
I have a followup question.
My company has an upcoming project with multiple KUKA robots. My colleague and I has been fiddling with the KUKA.Sim software.
We're used to making robotcells in RobotStudio with ABB robots, that give us the oppertunity to construct a whole cell and program the robots before we even receive the robots/components for it. So when the components are in house we're able just to transfer the program and do touch-up's.
I've build the KUKA cell as we intend it to be when we get the components. My colleague & I has been doing some programming in KUKA.Sim and have somewhat managed to export it to a demo robot we have onsite.
But it seems like not all options/syntax's are available in KUKA.Sim as they are in WorkVisual.
Is this correct? If so, would this mean that KUKA.Sim is only to make the preparations for a possible cell and what type of robot is needed, and not to do complete offline programming to prepare for the robots?
Thanks.
TL;DR:
Is it possible to offline program the whole cell in KUKA.Sim and the export the rutines to the robots with minimal tweaking?
It's been two years, anyone have a solution?
I've been messing around with Roboguide, trying to figure out some of the simulation options that it has.
I've got a EURPallet moving on a conveyor, and some wheels turning.
But each time I run the simulation I get the message "FRCSysPositionsClass.get_item" ERROR (Pic attached)
It appears four times after eachother, with the same text. The simlutation is running fine when I've acknowledge them.
I can't seem to find where the ERROR occurs from.
Has any of you experienced the same ERROR when running a simulation?

If you hover over the TP button with your mouse it should pop up.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Wow, I thought I tried that, but it did not show anything to begin with. Now I'm able to see the key bindings....
Thanks

I've stumbled upon some hotkeys in Roboguide so you easily are able to JOG the robot in the simulation via keyboard.
But I was wondering if there were more hotkeys/shortcuts for the keyboard. I can't seem to find any list online, maybe because I do not know what to search for....
Do anyone of you have a complete list with documentation?
Thanks in advance

PS. Here my JOG list:
Q & W - +/- J1
A & S - +/- J2
Z & X - +/- J3
E & R - +/- J4
D & F - +/- J5
C & V - +/- J6
T & Y - +/- J7
F & G - +/- J8
UPDATE: To have the license upgraded you need to contact Fanuc and pay an upgrade fee.
Ok, thanks
I'll wait and see if I get a response from Sweden. If not I would contact Roboguide America
I pretty much went through the exact thing, and posted about it here:https://www.robot-forum.com/robotforum/fan…m/roboguide-v9/
Unless you have the universal license you cant just go form V8 to V9. I talked with Fanuc and told them my company was upgrading and them kept extending my trial license. IIRC they ultimately gave me 90 or 120 days, not directly, but they just kept extending my trial. The options I had was either get the new license(which my company did), or revert back to V8.
Also, the way I find the license manager is click on the windows icon that opens all programs, then click on Fanuc Robotics, and then License Manager. It will ask if its okay to make changes to your computer and hit yes.
I have no problem in finding the License Manager After uninstalling V9 and installing V8 I was able to see my license again.
I've reverted back to V8 and written an email to Fanuc Sweden waiting for them to answer.
Thanks for the reply.
Hi
I've just upgraded my Roboguide to V9, and was told that my license would follow with this upgrade....but it didn't
Do any of you know a way to upgrade it or is it necessary to get i touch with Fanuc itself?
I can't see the license in the License Manager V9 but I know that it is present on my computer. And I am able to find it in the folder. RTL-ROBGUIDE800.lf.old
I'm stuck with the trail license which is not the ideal solution.
Thanks in advance

Hi Rob and Fabian.
I managed to find the problem which was a software update. I had 8.30139 and he had 8.30170. I did not think that a simple small update could give us the error, but we are up and running now.
The package cell is working now.

Unfortunately it did not help. It still gets stuck. I've tried installing all the add-ons that my firm has aquired, but still no use....
Hi
Me and my coworker have been working on a project i Roboguide. He started with a new project file so he could design the robot cell.
It is now my turn to set up the parts in our workspace.
So we want to be able to export his SIM from his PC to my PC for me to be able to look at the dimensions. But we are not able to see where
we should go for us to export the project file?!?!?!
We have tried copying the project folder, but when I try to open it on my computer it loads, what I think, about 70 % and the stalls.
And the Export option in Files is not anymore help to us.
Thanks in advance
Regards
MHammer
UPDATE:
My coworker and I did not have the same firmware.....he has 8.30170 and I had 8.30139 which I thought would not give any issues....but it did.
