I just did a search for setting up a heartbeat for a DX200 controller and nothing came up. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it just something that has to be enabled on the teach pendant, or does it require ladder program changes?
(Ethernet/Allen Bradley Compact Logix) but I already have it setup on the PLC, just need the pulse (or echo) from the Motoman robot controller.
Thanks in advance,

I recently went through a situation with PIAB cups. They pick up brown paper slip sheets. Over time, the cups became brittle, and wouldn't work very well.
PIAB told us to biol them in a pot. After that, they were like brand new again! Check with the supplier. -
RoboGuruA) Sorry for digging up the dead.
B) Thank you for the info so far, I've found it helpful.
My question is how do you get the position to save as a Base, vs a Pulse. I would like to manipulate the X, Y, and Z planes.
