I'm in the same boat as diglo. I have a small apps that writes points, but I'm thinking using my app to an external PC and communicate with ethernet.
Does the OPC protocol is free? Or I need to purchase a license from Kuka in order to operate with it?
Does KUKAVARPROXY permits running a program in the robot at the same time the variables are getting exchanged? Or does it can only operate the robot joints? I can't find an example on how to use it.
