Dear Panic Mode and SkyeFire!
So setting PGNO_FBIT to 17 and PGNO_LENGTH to 8 would mean that the program number would take up $IN[17]-$IN[24] on the robot, and in the PLC would occupy the 3rd byte of whatever I/O was assigned to the robot connection.
This is what I was missing from the manuals or not quite understand! Now everything is perfectly clear!!!
