hi
software needed GX works 2 (newest one) or GX developer
for gxw2 see attached picture (develope will be somehow similar)
not sure what you mean by
" I'm using a USB to ethernet device hooked into the Mitsubishi PLC. "
need some more explanation abut this
maybe this manual could help
https://dl.mitsubishielectric.com/dl/fa/document…y997d12301f.pdf
main problem is, that FX2s cannot hold symbolic information and comments, so even if you sucesfully get the software out it will be in pure ladder logic without any comment and/or devices names (totaly would contact your integrator for sw backup if possible)
Edit: im no admin or something like this, but this forum is about robots, for PLC related problems there are better places out there (like forums.mrplc.com)
I was able to finally get online. And yeah you're right, there is no tags or descriptions on the logic. Which isn't helpful. We contacted the integrator and they don't have any back up files for us. So guess I'm SOL.

We received a cell that has a MELSEC Mitsubishi FX 2N-80MR PLC installed. We need to access the PLC program for troubleshooting and additional programming and backing up. What software do I need to open the PLC program and how do we connect to this old PLC device? I'm trying some things now but it's risky as I don't want to accidently lose the programming and be unable to run the line for some reason.
We use Allen Bradley PLCs in the plant and connecting so far does not seem similar.
I'm using a USB to ethernet device hooked into the Mitsubishi PLC.
I basically need someone to explain how to connect like I'm a 5 year old for this PLC style.
Please help!

Hello,
Fanuc 420iW 175 Rbs, R J2 controllers
Fanuc RB spot weld cell, using pneumatic spot guns
I'm wondering if it is possible to set up my Robots to have a slow start after being stopped mid task. Whether they stopped due to an error or due to tech intervention, I want the first step after restarting to be a slow start just in case Robots came to a hard stop and I do not want to have the Robots start at 100% instantly at restart. I've set "Production Resume speed" to 50% but that just makes the Robots complete their current cycle at 50% speed, and then will run at 100% speed on the next cycle.
I know Nachi, Kawasaki and other robots have this feature and would like to implement this into the Fanuc Robots if its possible.
I should add that I have zero Fanuc Robot training. I just started a new job and I am the one responsible for this Fanuc RB Weld cell. Everything I know and have accomplished so far is just from playing around with the robots and reading online Forums/manuals
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I'm currently attempting to wire: A jokab RT6 24VDC, Vital1 24 VDC., keyence light curtain pair, eden eva gate switch, and omron limit switch Normally Closed and an e stop with manual reset.
I've got the light curtain, eden gate switch and Vital1 functioning correctly i believe but the jokab safety relay is not. I have all 5 lights solid on the jokab safety relay but only In1 and K1 function on and off as i open and close sensors and nothing will reset because the jokab requires both input contacts must be opened and re closed before the relay can be reset.
I was originally wiring all of this together using an Omron G9SA instead of the RT6 jokab safety relay and everything worked fine. Just ran into problems when switching to the jokab relay.
Any advice wouod be greatly appreciated. And if there's any further information anyone requires please don't hesitate to ask!
Thanks!
