Sorry for the delay on a reply. I haven't been able to try anything with this. Our robots a heavily used and the shipping supervisor doesn’t want me to put it out of service and also take the chance on doing something that will cause the robot to stop working

If you are using the T1 mode the arm will move slow use T2 witch is the step mode and you can have up to 100% speed

Robot arm KR180-2 PA
Controller KRC2US With teach Pendant
running palletTech softwareI've got a message on my teach pendant "kuka RDT Data of RDC and Hard Disk inconsistent! Check robot data" the robot is running fine and not having any problems. I've have about a month ago change the base pallet height by offsetting it so we can stack on a taller pallet. Yesterday I rebooted at 2:00pm the KRC2US and everything was fine. Then check the robot today at 6:00AM and it had the message and it had a time stamp of 4:30pm. Done some research and haven’t found anything I just thought about doing a reboot and see what happens?

Ya i found the same infomation. I didn't know if someone know of a backup storded on the KRC2us controller computer. put there by Kuka installers. I'm starting to think that Kuka took off with the the dongle and the files "database" needing to run pallet edit. Every time i turn around i find kuka wanting $$ for stuff that we should already have and can find.
It's kind of a long story when the came and did the install, and i didn't have the job that i have now. if i did stuff would have been done right and sruff would have been kept.

Is this your Kuka PalletTech, Palletedit Layout Dongle and do you know where I can get one besides getting it from KUKA $1450.00 any way to create a copy to a jump drive?

Does anyone have a picture of the 00-137-820: PalletTech Layout Dongle so we can at least know what it looks like. We lost ours or Kuks installers took it with them when the finished installing our robots back in 2007.

I have a KR 180-2 PA with a KRC2US controller running Kuka palletTech software and trying to use Pallet Edit to view the PAL files "Pallet pattern files"
I'm trying to open pal files in pallet edit and it's telling me
"The base pallet is not existig! At least one package, a slipsheet or pallet has changed! At least one logical gripper is not existing anymore or has been changed! Specification of cell has been changed. The PAL file cannot be opened."
so I've done some searching and found out that the pallet edit software uses a database file and you have to have it to open the pal "pallet pattern fine" does anyone know if the database is storded on the robot's computer.
