Check that the tool file you are running has the Payload set. Motoman defaults to max payload if the tool file is set to zero and will slow it down a lot.

Can you please post the instructions?

Only other way I know is you can do this is via FTP. You won't be able to get the cmos.bin file but you can pull pretty much everything out throught ftp while running. Only catch is you will manually have to do this with a Laptop or PC for each robot every time you need a backup.
You could even get fancy and create a batch file that automatily runs from a lineside PC and could pull backups automaticly over ftp.
Then post it here so we can all use it

I tried a few different methods yesterday and was unable to perform an Autobackup with the line running. Currently we set ours for 3:30am during non prouction times.
Are your robots running 24hrs a day 7days a week?

I do not think its possible to disable the beep all togeather from the software. This is the only parameter I am aware of that can make it a bit quieter.
S2C433: POSITION TEACHING BUZZER
This parameter specifies whether the buzzer sound at position teaching is used or not.
0 : With buzzer
1 : Without buzzer -
If you plan on using FSU I without a doubt would choose DX200. One thing we noticed between DX100/DX200 is the boot up time and how slow the DX100 is to fire up. We timed boot ups at 3-6 min on the DX100 when FSU was enabled.
DX200 is not much difffernt software wise and you should be able to pick it up if you take DX100 Training.
my 2 cents

The reason I ask is I'm trying to create a routine to automatically set the tool frame and user frames on machines during commissioning (using input from a touch probe). Has anyone done a similar thing?
Thanks in advance for any help!Have you had any luck with this? I would be intresed in using this.

Any help is appreciated.

This is the only change you can make to the buzzer without opening up the pendant and making a custom mod
DX100 under SETUP, TEACHING CONDITIONS, there is a buzzer option called BUZZER WHEN CONDITION TEACHING. Set it to NOT CONSIDER

Hello everyone, I need some help. When trying to do a backup of any type onto a floppy disc I get a Media Full MSG right away. Also when I go to format the floppy i get a E0082 Media is not ready.
I have tried changing the floppy disc drive and using another floppy. I have now also tried with a IC card and still no luck.
Can anyone share any insight to my problem? And or how i get can a backup?
Thanks

Hello everyone
We have 10 CF cards that we were using to backup our XRC controllers. "Someone" decided to format these cards and now we are down to one 32mb Card that we can use
Is anyone aware of a way to reclaim these cards and make them work for the XRC controllers?
More Info
-They are all 32mb
-I have tried all possible formats through windows 98/xp/7
-I even tried cloning the one that works to the others
-They still work fine in a PC or NX/DX controllers. Thanks

Hello Everyone
I would like to know some alternative options available to bring air lines and sensor cables to the EOAT. Currently we are using PMA tubing with connectors on (J3/U). Have any of you ever used anything else that would be an improvement over this method?
In my previous job we used Leoni dressout packages on our Fanuc Spot welding robots that worked pretty well. Is there a Motoman Equivalent?
Any information will help.
