You have to ask yourself if this is a safe situation. If you open an door, and you can go directly into the cage/cell then it is possible the the robot hits the employee!. It's better that you have a button thats "asks" for entrance. Then move the robot home. if it's at home , then release the doorlock, so you can enter the cell/cage.

What do you want? It's totally not clear what you want. English is not your native language i guess, but try to make better sentences. Otherwise nobody will/can help you.

i will look into it.

i know that there is a torrent out there. If you find it, you'll have lot of manuals (over 650 MB large) . (something with the pirates.............)

info; for notepad++ and ultraedit there are ABB plugins for the synthaxis of ABB code. Makes its easier to read.
notepad++: http://sourceforge.net/p/notepad-plus/patches/314/
how to: http://www.mickgenie.com/manually-install-notepad-plugins/ultraedit: http://www.ultraedit.nl/downloads/extras.html (its in dutch, but that is no problem for kroket )
What i do is, before i start is make a backup. Then with FTP i copy the backup to my computer. Do the stuff i need to do. Save the program as another version. Send it, with ftp, back to the robot. Load the new program/backup, and test it. small things in eed to change i do on the pendant.

Marcel

hi all,
i've got a 1 year old robot , and it has given the following error: error 50263: Duty factor warning.
I found this on the site from ABB: http://forums.robotstudio.com/discussion/189…r-warning-error
Besides the things mentioned (slow down / modifying trajectories) are there other things i can inspect?

I've attached the pendant to cable that was already in place. So the cable is lying there for years now. But i haven't seen the problem again since i replaced the pendant. (But there are other problems, and that gives me a headache!! )
-
It appears that the emergency circuit is picking up signals from a induction furnace. (and 2 weeks ago we replaced an old one). That might be the source of the problem.

this morning we've got the same error again. The system is totally frozen. I cannot do OK/quit whatever. The pendant is non responsive. I've replaced the pendant with a other one. Let's see whats happens. The program is running for a long time now, so i don't think that there is a programming problem.

Thanks for the input. I will check those things.
Greetings,

Hi,
Last night a ABB robot gave this message on the pendant:
TAF.exe Error: an unexpected error occured in taf.exe. Select quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more informationAfter this the robot got powered down. Result: system failure. Then we did a backup recovery, but during that process the system stopped with the message "recovery aborted because of loss of system data (this message was in dutch language) " Then a B-start was done. This got the system up and running. Then the backup was run, and the system is now running fine.
Anybody any ideas about this error??? On the internet i found one thing, were the cause could be the pendent itself. If i look at the picture that was made i suspect that it is a message from windows itself. I've attached the picture

Hello,
At this moment i'm working on an older robot (S4C, baseware 3.1) At random times it will totally freeze. We can't use the pendant anymore. So then we have only one option: power it down. Today it ran 30-40 products. After powerdown/.reboot i cleared the logfiles, and even before we could run one product, the whole system froze again!. After again powerdown/reboot we could do a batch of products.
any idea's / suggestions ??
thank you!
